Privacy policy

ibeanz inc ("we," "us," or "our") operates QboConnect at https://qboconnect.ibeanzinc.com. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit this site, connect a QuickBooks Online company, or use the integration through a participating business application.

Information we collect

• Connection information. We store the connected company's QuickBooks identifier, the participating application's company identifiers, authorization tokens, connection dates, and token expiration dates. We also temporarily process authorization codes and connection-verification information to complete authorization.
• QuickBooks data. When an authorized application requests customers, we process customer identifiers, display names, active status, and available email addresses and phone numbers. These records are returned to the authorized application; QboConnect does not currently maintain a separate stored customer directory.
• Technical information. We process operational records such as request outcomes, timestamps, correlation identifiers, and diagnostic information. Our hosting providers may also process IP addresses, browser information, and other technical information to deliver and protect the service.
• Support communications. If you contact us, we receive the information you provide, including your email address and the contents of your message.

QuickBooks sign-in is handled by Intuit. We do not collect your Intuit password. Authorization tokens allow the integration to access the connected company within the permissions granted through Intuit.

How we use information

We use information to establish and maintain authorized connections, fulfill requests from participating applications, provide support, diagnose problems, protect the service, and meet applicable legal obligations. QboConnect currently reads customer lists; it does not currently create bills or invoices.

How we share information

We exchange information with Intuit to provide the integration and return requested company data to the authorized participating application. We use service providers, including Microsoft Azure for hosting, database storage, and monitoring, to operate the service. We may disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, or maintain security. Information may also be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable protections.

We do not sell personal information or use QuickBooks data for advertising. We operate QboConnect independently and do not process your information on Intuit's behalf. Intuit and participating business applications have their own terms and privacy practices.

Storage and security

We use HTTPS for service communications, protect stored authorization tokens with encryption, and restrict API access to authorized applications. Application telemetry is configured to omit customer payloads, credentials, and OAuth query values. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate, which may differ from your country of residence.

Retention and deletion

We retain connection information while needed to operate an authorized integration and retain support and diagnostic records as reasonably needed for their purposes, security, and legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and applicable operational or legal requirements.

You may revoke access through QuickBooks Online and contact us to request removal of stored connection information. Revoking access does not automatically remove records already held by QboConnect or data previously returned to another application. Certain records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons, and backup copies may remain until removed through the applicable backup lifecycle. See how to disconnect.

Cookies

QboConnect uses a temporary security cookie during the connection process to associate authorization with the browser that started it. Hosting infrastructure may also use cookies needed to operate the service. These pages do not include advertising or marketing tracking scripts.

Your choices and requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or restrictions on the use of your personal information. Contact us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and authority to act for the connected company before responding. For data held by your business application or Intuit, contact the relevant provider.

Children

QboConnect is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or our practices change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
